- Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
- Take gram flour. Add salt, red chilli powder, 1 pinch hing, mint powder, oil.
- Mix well and knead with tight dough using curd.
- Now make 2 balls from it. Make rolls of it.
- Boil 1 cup water. When water starts boiling add rolls in it.
- When colour of gram flour starts changes check using knife, if it does not stick on knife it's cooked.
- Drain water and cool and cut into pieces.
- Cook rice along with 1 teaspoon ghee and few drops of lemon juice and salt.
- Now heat ghee in pan.Shallow fry gattes in it.
- Now take out gatte from it.
- Add jeera,hing and bay leaf.
- Add half grinded cloves, black pepper, badi elaichi, cinnamon.
- Add chopped veggies. Cook till it become soft.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder
- Add cooked rice and gatte.Mix well.
- Cook covered for 5 minutes. Ram pulav is ready serve hot with curd.
